چکیده

Objective: to compare different protocols available for regenerative endodontic. Methodology: articles published between 2001 and 2021 were searched on the database PubMed using following keywords: “pulp revascularization” or revitalization” “apexification”. Inclusion criteria studies humans, patients with immature permanent teeth necrosis irreversible pulpitis, a follow-up of at least 12 months, clearly described in English language. Results: The search produced 944 results. After applying inclusion exclusion criteria, only 35 selected. 11 added bibliographic review selected total 46 cases included. success rate outcome endodontic was 80% observed 278 teeth. During irrigation, NaOCL used most concentration varying from 0.5% 6% TAP has been intracanal medication (32.7%). Periapical healing resolution symptoms 95.7%, while apexogenesis 80.2%. Increase root length reach 60%, thickness 64.8% apical closure 61,9%. Pulp vitality found 7.2% discoloration 29.5%. Conclusion: Regenerative showed signs cases, pronounced increase thickness, apex. Due high number their heterogenicity, superiority one over others cannot be established. More randomized clinical trials are needed determine effective protocol.

Recommendations for using regenerative endodontic procedures in permanent immature traumatized teeth.

The regeneration of immature permanent teeth following trauma could be beneficial to reduce the risk of fracture and loss of millions of teeth each year. Regenerative endodontic procedures include revascularization, partial pulpotomy, and apexogenesis. Several case reports give these procedures a good prognosis as an alternative to apexification. Care is needed to deliver regenerative endodonti...

Drawbacks and unfavorable outcomes of regenerative endodontic treatments of necrotic immature teeth: a literature review and report of a case.

INTRODUCTION Endodontic treatment of immature necrotic teeth is challenging. Recently a biologically based treatment called regenerative endodontic treatment was introduced. Although regenerative endodontic treatment causes root development, there are several drawbacks and unfavorable outcomes that should be addressed. This article describes regenerative endodontic treatment of 2 maxillary cent...

Results after replantation of avulsed permanent teeth. I. Endodontic considerations.

Following avulsion and replantation, teeth are at risk for infection and infection related resorption (IRR). Severe discolorations of tooth crowns and cervical root fractures are common. This study presents data on endodontic related complications of avulsed teeth replanted following an extraoral endodontic treatment. Periodontal aspects will be discussed in the second part of the present publi...

Single versus multiple visits for endodontic treatment of permanent teeth.

BACKGROUND Root canal treatment (RoCT), or endodontic treatment, is a common procedure in dentistry. The main indications for RoCT are irreversible pulpitis and necrosis of the dental pulp caused by carious processes, tooth cracks or chips, or dental trauma. Successful RoCT is characterised by an absence of symptoms and clinical signs in teeth without radiographic evidence of periodontal involv...
